Ladies Days Added to Shooting Options at Deep River

A special Ladies Day on the second Sunday of each month is available in our Deep River line up, offering a new opportunity for fun at the Range.

Come on your own or bring you mom, daughter, co-worker or a friend and enjoy special reduced rates for shooting. The Sporting target fees are $11 for members, $18 for non-members.  The Compak Course target fees are $5.50 for members, $9 for non-members.  Rental guns are available for those not having their own equipment.  Contact Pro Shop Manager Scott Ferguson by phone at 774-7080 or email at scott@deepriver.net for details.

Fun Shoots Held Each Month

Plan to attend the Club Fun Shoot held on the second Saturday most months between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. (with entries closed at 1 p.m.). The 100-target event is open to all. The entry fee is $45 plus NSCA fees ($35 for Deep River members).  All participants have a chance to win a 10 box case of cartridges by drawing immediately following the awards ceremony. (You must be present to win.)

Fun shoots use the NSCA Classification System for award purposes. NSCA members will compete in class (AA through E) and will have their targets registered per NSCA rules. Each NSCA class winner will receive a $25 gift certificate. (NSCA members wishing to register an additional 100 targets may do so, targets only.)

Non-NSCA members are encouraged to participate in an Open Class. This class will be broken down using the Lewis Class System which will allow everyone the chance to win regardless of ability. Class winners will receive a $25 gift certificate.

A Small Gauge Challenge using the Mahan Scoring System is also normally offered during a Fun Shoot. It will consist of 50 targets with an entry fee of $25 ($20 for Deep River members). A $20 gift certificate will be awarded the winner.

North Carolina Concealed Carry Course

The North Carolina Concealed Carry Course is now available the second Sunday morning of each month. The tuition is $70.  Advanced reservations are required. Call 919-774-7080 for information and to register.

Golf Carts Available to Rent

Deep River offers four-seater golf carts for rent at $4 per person per 50-target round for shooters' convenience. Members receive a 15 percent discount.
